About Laurier Moot Court
Our Journey
Since its inception in 2016, LMC's size and competitiveness have grown. In 2020, LMC won its first mooting championship at the McGill Cup, beginning a streak of increasing success, culminating in LMC's first-ever championship at the Osgoode Cup, Canada's largest and longest-running undergraduate moot competition, in March 2024. Further, the club has grown to involve 45 students annually.
Additionally, since 2020, LMC hosts its annual Hawks Cup Tournament each November. Nowadays, Hawks Cup is Canada's largest undergraduate mooting competition in the fall term.
